With this piece written for Retail Touchpoints, I try to raise awareness on neuroinclusion in retail design, a topic very close to my heart, and which I fear is still too often ignored.
First, I provide some background information on the population the topic addresses. Then I touch upon how current retail design practices may be alienating this population. Finally, I reflect on the way forward and more particularly the benefits of a more inclusive approach to physical store design.
